sand是可数名词吗

　　sand既是可数名词也是不可数名词。指细小的石粒时，是不可数名词。“一粒沙”是a grain of sand。作“沙滩”“沙洲”解时，含有大片大片的意思，这时多用其复数形式sands。sand还可用于表示地名，如the Goodwin Sands（古德温沙洲）。
